Indore: The Tejaji Nagar police arrested the people involved in mobile theft from truck drivers on the Bypass Road on Sunday. The accused included two minors. The police recovered eleven mobile phones and a firearm from them. The police are further interrogating the accused.
The Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Prashant Choubey said the Tejaji Nagar police station staff searched two bikers who had threatened a man after firing a bullet on Tejaji Nagar Bridge on March 11. 2019.
The unidentified persons have booked under Sections 308, 393, 34 of IPC by the Police. As a police team was deployed on Ralamandal Square for checking on Sunday, two bikers that came that way and sped away after seeing the police party. The police cordoned off the area and managed to arrest them. During interrogation, they allegedly confessed to have threatened a person on Tejaji Nagar with the intension to rob him. The police recovered a loaded country made pistol, 11 mobile phones, two bikes and a cutter from them. The accused have been identified as Rajesh More, Ranjeet, Rajesh Chogne, Rahul Dhrupal, Sonu Sahu and two of their minor accomplices.
