New Delhi: The Delhi Police arrested a man involved in the procurement and supply of illegal firearms to criminals in Delhi, the police said on Wednesday. The man from whom he used to procure the weapons has also been arrested. DCP (South) Mr. Vijay Kumar said the two persons that were arrested for illegal firearms supply are Mohammad Parvez, 42, of Jasola village, and Iqbal, of UP’s Hapur. The police seized five pistols and 30 live cartridges from their possession. The man who supplied illegal arms, Parvez started supplying weapons after his release from jail. He was in 2008 convicted in a murder case, which was registered at Kalkaji police station.]]>
