Patna: On Thursday, after the gun battle police recovered three dead bodies of Maoists in a forest area of the Gaya district of Bihar. The area had been targeted from before launching an operation, the Officials said. During the Joint team of the CRPF’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) squad and district police operation three Maoists had been shot dead. The operation was launched in the forest of Chakarabandh area of the district. While the joint team was marching through the forest the cross-firing took place against the Ultras around noon yesterday. When the cross-firing was silenced, the security forces marched to the spot and recovered three dead bodies of Maoists, Officials said. Besides, the recovery of deadly weapons such as seven guns, an Ak-47, three INSAS rifles, and some improvised explosive devices (IEDs) ascertained that they had some motives for executing their conspiracy. Therefore, the joint team patrolled the area thoroughly. The Officials also presumed that the Maoists carry out their many conspired activities from the area.
