HYDERABAD: Acting on specific information, the Zone Team of Task Force police raided a hawala racked and arrested its associated members for allegedly involving in illegal transporting cash worth 5 crore. On Monday night, according to the tip-off received, the West Zone Team of Task Force were on high vigilant on the movements of certain suspects. While the vehicle of the suspects approached near Jubille Hills police intercepted the running vehicle and the search was carried out. During the search, police found vehicle loaded with huge amount of cash. Seven members indulged were Vipul Kumar Patel, Shailesh Bhai, VK Patel, Arun Labhuji, Ragesh Rameshbai Patel, Upendra Kumar Patel and Patel Chetan Kumar. All of them were the natives of Gujarat. They produced valid documents to prove the source of the cash. However, police learnt they were the members of Hawala gang. They were asked by the agents of the company to deliver cash to their Mumbai office in two cars. Police seized the amount for further investigation and promised to hand over the amount to income tax officials.]]>
