Kakinada: An officer working in Tuni Forest Department threatened and raped the tribal caste employees working under him several times.
DSP Mr. M. Venkateswara Rao immediately took up the investigation of this case and recorded the statement of the victim by a female police officer and sent the victim to the government hospital for medical examination. In the investigation of this case, the accused P. Ravishankar Nag had previously worked as Annavaram Forest Section Officer and now is working as Forest Section Officer, Tuni Section. As the police found the evidence that the victim was raped on the evening of 26.10.2022 the accused was arrested by the investigating officer.
