North and Middle Andaman: On October 21, 2023, the North and Middle Andaman District Police gathered to pay tribute to their fallen comrades who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving on duty. This solemn occasion was marked by a heartfelt ceremony where officers and staff honored the courageous individuals who gave their lives in service to the community.
The event took place at the SP(D) N&MA Office campus and was attended by officers from various units. It served as a poignant reminder of the dedication and sacrifice demonstrated by police personnel, showcasing their unwavering commitment to public safety.
Ms. Geetanjali Khandelwal, IPS, SP(D) N&MA, addressed the gathering, acknowledging the sacrifices made by these brave officers and expressing gratitude on behalf of the department and the community. The ceremony included the laying of wreaths and a moment of silence as a sign of respect.
