Vijayawada: Today, turned out to be a rewarding and Prestigious day for Andhra Pradesh Police as the state Police received National Awards from three national Organizations on the same day. The organizations are FICCI India, SKOCH Group, and NCRBHQ. The Andhra Pradesh Police has conferred The FICCI Award for ‘Smart Innovative Policing’ for its outstanding performance in policing domain in the country during the virtual ceremony held this morning at FICCI India.
Mr. Gautam Sawang IPS, DGP received the award for being adjudged as No 1 State in the country for the formidable achievements in Policing and Public Safety by undertaking digital and technological reforms in various aspects of policing in the 72nd SKOCH Summit by the SKOCH Group this afternoon. Interlinking the verticals of the Interoperable Criminal Justice System(ICJS). Andhra Pradesh Police stood first in the country for its exceptional performance.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy and Home Minister Ms. Mekatoti Sucharita appreciated the Police Department for the efforts and the success that followed.
