Andhra Pradesh: The Andhra Pradesh Police bagged 15 Digital Technology Sabha Excellence Awards of the Indian Express group announced in various categories at Digital Technology Sabha Virtual Conference 2022.
Andhra Pradesh Police Headquarters received 8 awards, Tirupati Police received 2 awards and 1 award each for Kadapa District Police, Anantapur Police, Chittoor District Police, Prakasam Police, and Vijayawada City Police. Andhra Pradesh Police top the list in the country with a total of 165 National awards in the use of Technology in a span of 30 months.
DGP Andhra Pradesh Mr. K.V.Rajendranath Reddy, IPS congratulated the Police Headquarters team as well as District Police teams who won the awards and urged them to continue to provide better services to the public with transparency and accountability in line with the mandate of GOAP and the vision of Hon’ble Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
