Hyderabad: Another bounty of 14 awards bagged by Andhra Pradesh Police as it stole the show on Governance Now 2nd India Police Awards 2022 on 15th July. Awards won in the categories of Community Policing, Women Safety, E-Policing Initiative, Road Safety and Traffic Management, Surveillance and Monitoring Technology in Crime Detection, Policing Initiative-Technology, Command and Control, Crime Investigation and Prosecution, Police Modernization, Disaster Management for their eminence.
Police Headquarters bagged 4 awards, NTR District and Tirupati bagged 2 each, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Prakasam, Kadapa and Chittoor districts bagged 1 each. A record breaking of 189 National awards have been bestowed to Andhra Pradesh Police so far.
DGP Mr. K. V Rajendranath Reddy IPS, appreciated all award winners for their achievement, which further increases the responsibility in providing best service to the citizens of the State.
