Mangalagiri: The Andhra Pradesh Police while creating awareness on online safety said to scan the files with anti-virus software after you download them from the internet.
If you download files from suspicious sites, check for viruses before you download instead of waiting to see if your regular anti-virus software detects them.
Make sure that your antivirus offers you proper protection by detecting the malicious code in your system. Always keep the desktop firewall ‘On’ for safer communication.
