Kurnool — Police conducted peace prayers at the Town Police Station in Allagadda town in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh to curb illicit activities. While Sunday prayer was held, its video has gone viral ever since.In the video, a priest can be seen chanting mantras at the Allagadda police station and police chanting Vedic mantras with folded hands.
Recently a constable on night duty was bitten by a snake. Two girls were kidnapped last week and road accident cases were reported. A man attacked and injured people near Padakandla. Cases of political animosity within the police station are also on the rise.All of these events took place within a few weeks. With this, the police are clamoring. Information that special prayers were held on Sunday. The video of the incident has since gone viral.
Some people in town believe that ‘evil’ power is prevalent. So, the local priest was called. A ‘peace paratha’ (peace prayer) and other rituals were held at the police station, where all the staff participated.
Now that the incident has become a topic of discussion in the town, the authorities are not softening their mouths on the poojas held at the police station.
