NTR District Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata I.P.S participated in the program where the Andhra Pradesh Tourist Police Outposts were launched virtually by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Garu and District Collector Mr. Dilli Rao IAS Garu. Tourist Police Outposts have been set up under the supervision of the State Government and the State Police Department at various important tourist spots in the state for the safety of the tourists and to provide necessary information to the tourists. The Andhra Pradesh Tourist Police Outposts established at various major tourist spots in the state were inaugurated today on 14-2-2023 by Hon’ble State Chief Minister Mr. Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and State DGP Mr. K. V. Rajendranath Reddy IPS. Inauguration was done in virtual mode by Garla. 2.2.3. In the virtual inauguration of Andhra Pradesh Tourist Police Outposts, the Indrakiladri Tourist Police Outpost established at Prakasam Barrage in Baganga NTR District Police Commissionerate was inaugurated by City Police Commissioner Mr. Kanti Rana Tata I.P.S. Garu, NTR District Collector Mr. Dilli Rao IAS. Garu and D.C.P. Mr. Vishal Gunni I.P.S. Bhavani Island Tourist Police Out Post established at Garlu, Bhavani Island by D.C.P. Mrs. Mary Prashanthi I.P.S. Ibrahimpatnam Pavitra Sangham Ghat Nandu Admin DCP. Mr. Moka Sattibabu Garlu participated and explained the details of Tourist Police out posts thoroughly. Later, the City Police Commissioner said that three tourist police outposts have been set up in the city near Prakasam Barrage, near Punnami Ghat and at Ibrahimpatnam Pavitra Sangha, with the intention of ensuring the safety of tourists and ensuring that they complete their tours peacefully. The posts have been set up and each out post will be manned 24 hours by two staff per shift in three shifts, the staff will have complete knowledge about all the important tourist places in and around Vijayawada city, hospitals and hotels etc. It was informed that training has been done to provide complete information to the pilgrims who have arrived. In this program along with City Police Commissioner, NTR District Collector Mr. Dilli Rao IAS, East Zone DCP. Mr. Vishal Gunni I.P.S. Garu, D.C.P. Mrs. Mary Prashanthi I.P.S. Admin D.C.P. Mr. Moka Satthibabugaru, S.B.A.D.C.P. Mr. C.H. Lakshmipati Garu, Kanakadurga Temple E.O. Mrs. Bhramaramba, Western Division A.C.P. Dr. K. Hanumantha Rao, Inspectors, SIs and staff were also present.
