Leh: In a significant event aimed at raising awareness about animal rights and the prevention of cruelty to animals, former Union Minister and renowned animal rights activist Ms. Maneka Gandhi visited the District Police Lines (DPL) in Leh. During her visit, Ms. Gandhi delivered an insightful session on the intricacies of animal rights laws and the critical measures necessary to prevent cruelty to animals. The session was well-attended, with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Leh, Ms. Shruti Arora IPS, leading a contingent of officers and officials from the DPL.
