Tiruvarur: Tiruvarur District Superintendent of Police Mr.S.Jayakumar, M.Sc.(Agri).,on 12.12.2023 personally visited Koothanallur Police Station and conducted annual inspection. Then they examined the records maintained at the police station. They examined the major cases registered at the police station and currently under investigation. In cases where the culprits have not been arrested, they have issued instructions to arrest the culprits immediately. They scrutinized the unfiled cases, visited the court and met the concerned persons and gave instructions to the Inspector of Police to file the cases immediately. They studied the cases pending in court. In NBW pending cases, the accused were also directed to be arrested immediately and produced before the court and directed the Inspector of Police to complete the court proceedings expeditiously. In the morning and in the mountains, day time patrols should be sent and patrollers should go to crowded places and make sure that there is no law and order problem and should monitor the people involved in illegal activities and take appropriate action. They gave instructions to be alert and act so that the actions do not take place. Thiruvarur Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. A. Sivaraman was present during the inspection.
