Ananthapuramu : Ananthapuramu District Police busted unauthorized arms manufacturing units, the police unearthed organized nexus between arms manufactures-dealer-purchasers of arms and anti -social elements and arrested notorious interstate drug and arms peddlers. The police seized the following Illegal arms and ammunition: 18 Weapons, 95 live rounds of Ammunitions and 6 extra Magazines. Details: Beretta, 9mm Semi automatic pistol with 15 rounds; 9 mm pistols 03 with 15 rounds; 0.32 mm pistols 11 with 63 rounds; Revolver 01; Tapancha 02 with 02 rounds. The accused persons arrested : Jamsheed alias khan alias Jeeshan(37), s/o late. Shafiulla, Bangalore, Karnataka state. He is a Ganja & Arms peddler having Rowdy sheet in Yeshwantpur Police Station, Bangalore city. He was involved in 22 criminal cases. Mubarak(43), s/o late Shafiulla, Bangalore, Karnataka state. He is a Ganja & Arms Peddler having Rowdy sheet in Yeshwantpur Police Station, Bangalore city, involved in 12 criminal cases. Ameer Pasha(30), s/o late Amjadh pasha, Bangalore, Karnataka. He is a Ganja & Arms Peddler having Rowdy sheet in Magadi Police Station, Bangalore city, involved in 7 cases.
Riyaz abdul shaik alias Riyaz shaik(36), s/o late. Abdul shaikh, South Goa, native of Bellary town. Karnataka state. He is a Ganja & Arms peddler having Rowdy sheet in S.J. Palya Police Station Bangalore city, involved in 4 criminal cases. Rajpal Singh(30), S/o Pradhan Singh, Ummarti village, Warla Taluq, Barwani District, Madhya Pradesh. He is a Arms manufacturer & dealer involved in 4 Arms Act cases in Madhya Pradesh. Nannu Suthar Adivashi(25),S/o Suthar Adivasi, Rajan Goan village, Warla Taluq, Barvani District, Madhya Pradesh. He is an Arms supplier.
The above said accused are having cases registered in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Goa. The FIR was registered in D. Hirehal Police Station on 25.12.2022. DGP, L&O, Andhra Pradesh and Mr. M.Ravi Prakash, IPS., DIG, Ananthapuramu Range, Ananthapuramu. ‘Special Operation Teams’ of Ananthapuramu District Police achieved major breakthrough in busting nexus between fake currency – Ganja – illegal arms trade and rowdy elements.
‘Special Operation Teams’ of Ananthapuramu District Police under direct supervision of Dr. Fakkeerappa Kaginelli, IPS., Supdt. of Police, Ananthapuramu busted well organized network of rowdy sheeters cum hired killers of Bangalore City having connection with fake Indian currency note (FICN) manufactures based out of Bellary and Ananthapuramu. In order to run their illegal activities unhindered, the Bangalore based rowdy sheeters (Jamsheed alias khan,Mubarak, Ameer Pasha,Riyaz abdul shaik alias Riyaz shaik, Rajpal Singh, Nannu Suthar Adivashi) are procuring Ganja from Shirpur of Maharashtra State and small arms from illegal manufacturing hubs of Madhya Pradesh. Ananthapuramu Police ‘Special Operation Teams’ raided illegal arms manufacturing unit owned by Rajpal Singh at Umarti viz., Warla Tehsil, Barwani District and taken custody of Rajpal Singh who is arms manufacturer, dealer cum distributor and another person by name Nannu Suthar Adivasi who is supplier of arms.
Among the 18 weapons seized one sophisticated semi automatic BERETTA also was confiscated. During the preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the said accused are involving in Gang rivalries, hired killings, extortion activities in Bangalore city limits by using illegally procured firearms. The main arms dealer cum manufacture Rajpal Singh supplied hundreds of weapons to various parts of the country. Investigation is on to unearth the entire network of illegal arms trade.
Director General of Police appreciated the good work done by Dr. Fakkeerappa Kaginelli, IPS., Supdt. of Police, Ananthapuramu, Mr. B.Srinivasulu, SDPO, Kalyandurg, Special Operation Team members (14) lead by Mr. C.Rajasekhar Reddy, RSI, DAR, Ananthapuramu, Mr. V.Yugandhar, CI Rayadurgam Rural Circle, Mr. B.Ramakrishna Reddy, Sl of Police, D.Hirehal Police Station, Mr. G.Siva, SI of Police, Bommanahal Police Station. Meanwhile, after busting network of anti-social elements from within and outside the state, Andhra Pradesh Police has adopted a proactive approach to unearth these illicit weapons and drug supply networks from point of origin to make Andhra Pradesh State free of crime and drugs as per vision of Mr. Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy garu, Hon’ble CM of Andhra Pradesh.
