Two burglars on 9.11.2022 entered a house in Modukuru(V) while the members of the family were sleeping in the hall. They broke the lock of middle room and committed theft. The family found the middle door unlocked at about 4:15 a.m and noticing the valuables missing lodged a complaint in Chundur Police Station. The police registered a case and started investigation by forming Special Teams. They examined CC cameras in surrounding areas of Modukuru and collected details of old criminals. After complete investigation, today the two accused were arrested at Nandivelugu,Guntur(D) & the police recovered the gold ornaments, silver ware & bikes worth Rs. 60 lakh from their possession. DGP Mr. K.V Rajendranath Reddy IPS, appreciated Bapatla Police for solving a huge burglary having no clues.
