If anyone does so, its punishable as per law. In order to end bonded labour, AP Police launched an innovative program “Operation Svechha “. A special drive is conducted across the state for a week from 9th to 15th of this month. Many awareness programs are being organized under the supervision of Anti Human Trafficking Unit on the aspects of bonded labour and child labour across the State. They released posters, conducted rallies and formed human chains. The Participants took a pledge to abolish bonded labour system.
