Kakinada: In Rowthulapudi village, Kakinada district, a woman was assaulted and wounded by her relatives due to ongoing disputes between the two families over the preceding months. Overwhelmed by panic, she activated the Disha SOS. Acting on the provided information, the police from Rowthulapudi Police Station swiftly arrived at the scene and promptly admitted the injured woman to the hospital. Subsequently, a case was filed against the assailants based on the victim’s complaint. The Director General of Police, Mr. K.V. Rajendranath Reddy IPS, commended the Kakinada Police for their rapid response and their role in rescuing the injured woman.
