Bhadradri Kothagudem: The Superintendent of Police, Dr. Vineeth G IPS, visited a tribal individual who lost his cow due to the actions of the Maoists in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. In a recent statement, Dr. Vineeth G IPS expressed concern over the banned CPI-Maoist party’s intimidation and extortion tactics against tribal communities residing in the border regions of Telangana and Chhattisgarh. He condemned these actions as inhumane, emphasizing that the Maoists not only target law enforcement but also harm tribals who rely on the forest for their livelihoods. Tragically, a pregnant cow belonging to a tribal person was killed by pressure mines placed in areas frequented by the community in the Rampuram-Pusuguppa forest area. Dr. Vineeth G IPS highlighted the adivasis’ anger towards the Maoist party for these attacks, asserting that the party falsely claims to support their cause.
During his visit, the SP urged the adivasi people to expel the Maoists, emphasizing that the group is exploiting them for personal gain while falsely professing to fight for their rights to water, forest, and land.
