Punjab, Bathinda:  The Bathinda Police carried out a surprise inspection at multiple shops engaged in the sale of kites to ensure strict compliance with the ban on hazardous materials. During the operation, shopkeepers were explicitly instructed not to stock, sell, or distribute China Dor, a dangerous type of synthetic kite string known for its sharpness and potential to cause serious injuries or fatalities.

Authorities reiterated that the sale and purchase of China Dor are strictly prohibited by law, and anyone found violating these regulations will face stringent legal consequences. The police emphasized their zero-tolerance policy toward the possession, sale, or use of such banned materials and assured that immediate action will be taken against offenders.
