Bathinda, Punjab: As part of the ongoing “War on Drugs” and in line with the Punjab Government’s mission to build a drug-free society, the Bathinda Police have launched a special Inter-State Operation “SEAL-22” at all major border points of the district.
The operation aims to curb drug trafficking and dismantle networks involved in the smuggling of narcotic substances across state borders. The Bathinda Police, under the supervision of senior officers, have deployed multiple teams equipped with modern surveillance tools to monitor interstate movements.
During the operation, stringent checking of suspicious individuals and vehicles is being conducted to prevent the inflow and outflow of illegal drugs and to maintain law and order within the district. Police personnel are on high alert across all entry and exit routes connecting neighboring districts and states.
Superintendent of Police (Bathinda) emphasized that the district police remain vigilant at every level, ensuring that no anti-social element escapes the law. He reiterated that Bathinda Police are fully committed to eradicating drug trafficking from its roots and ensuring a safe, peaceful, and drug-free society for future generations.
This large-scale inter-state operation reflects the strong coordination and cooperation among law enforcement agencies and demonstrates the determination of Punjab Police to eliminate the menace of drugs through continuous vigilance and decisive action.
