Bathinda, Punjab, August 3, 2025: As part of the ongoing War Against Drugs campaign, the Bathinda Police continue to take proactive steps to engage with the youth and promote a healthy lifestyle. In a unique initiative, the In-Charge of Police Post Goniana, along with the Special Branch team, participated in a friendly cricket match with local youth at village Nehianwala.
The event was more than just a game—it served as a powerful platform to spread awareness about the dangers of drug abuse. Police officials used the occasion to interact with the young participants, encouraging them to stay away from narcotics and embrace sports, discipline, and teamwork as part of their daily lives.
This community-focused approach is part of the district police’s broader strategy to strengthen police-public relations and steer the younger generation toward positive activities.
The enthusiastic participation and positive response from the youth reflect growing support for the anti-drug movement, reinforcing the message: “Choose Sports, Not Drugs.”
