Under the initiative of Operation Mukti Abhiyan, an effort has been made to identify children who have been deprived of access to education due to various reasons such as poverty, social discrimination, lack of awareness, or geographical barriers. In the Nainital district of the state, the program has identified 119 such children who were not attending school and have not had the opportunity to develop their potential.
The program aims to ensure that every child has access to quality education, and it has been successful in getting 62 children from Nainital district enrolled in schools. Additionally, the children have been provided with essential items such as school bags, stationery, shoes, and uniforms, to enable them to attend school without any hindrances.
The initiative also includes a public awareness campaign to reach out to economically disadvantaged communities and educate them about the importance of education. The teams involved in the campaign are working tirelessly to create awareness about the program and encourage parents to send their children to school.
This campaign is essential in helping children from marginalized communities become a part of the mainstream, by providing them with opportunities to learn and develop their skills. Through this initiative, the state is striving to achieve its goal of ensuring that no child is left behind and that everyone has access to education, regardless of their socio-economic background.
