Bhopal: Commissioner of Police Mr. Harinarayanachari Mishra and Additional Commissioner of Police Mr. Awadhesh Goswami recently issued guidelines to the police force in Bhopal regarding the apprehension of individuals involved in body-related crimes and kidnapping cases. These guidelines were put into action by Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Shrutikirti Somvanshi and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Shashank, along with Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Ajay Mishra, who led a team from Jahangirabad police station that successfully found and rescued a kidnapped boy named Ayaan.
According to the complainant, Bano husband Azim Khan, Ayaan, who was just five years old, had gone missing on April 22, 2023, while he was out buying goods for the upcoming Eid festival. When he didn’t return home, his parents went to the shop where he was supposed to have gone, only to find out that he had left with an unknown person. Fearing that Ayaan had been kidnapped, the parents immediately reported the incident to the police, who took it seriously and formed multiple teams to search for the boy.
To aid in the search, the police reviewed footage from government cameras and those installed by residents to track Ayaan’s movements. The search lasted for several hours, and the police staff worked tirelessly to locate the boy. Eventually, the police received information from the Piplani area and were able to rescue Ayaan at around 1:30 AM. The police took him into custody and subsequently handed him over to his mother, Zarina Bano.
The success of the operation was due to the diligent work of the police staff and citizens who helped by installing cameras in their homes and on the streets. The footage captured by these cameras helped the police track Ayaan’s movements and ultimately led to his rescue.
The police staff involved in the operation, including police station in-charge Mr. Shahwaz Khan, Uni Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Laxman Rai, Souni Ajay Dubey, Sauni Ajay Bajpai, Pr Shivnath, Pr Sadiq Khan, Pr Ehshan Khan, Pr Santosh Yadav, Constable Neeraj Kumar, Constable Naseem Khan, Constable Sumit Yadav, Constable Premshankar Chaure, Constable Ajay Vaidya, and Female Constable Ritu Sharma, worked tirelessly and professionally to ensure a successful outcome.
In conclusion, the successful rescue of Ayaan was a testament to the dedication and hard work of the police staff and the cooperation of the citizens. The guidelines issued by the Commissioner of Police and Additional Commissioner of Police were critical in ensuring the success of the operation, and their continued efforts to keep Bhopal safe are commendable.
