Bidar : In Humnabad 10 Accused persons were arrested with 31 Lakhs worth of liquor. ABR Logistics got information about the accident that took place near Dubolgundi Cross, Humnabad Lorry bearing registration No. KA-32-C-758 and went to the spot. The liquor casks from Hermes Distillery (Sub Lessee United Spirits Ltd) Rayabhag Company were being transported to KSBCL Godown at Mailoor in Bidar district.
Under the Guidance of Mr. Kishor Babu IPS SP, Mr. Mahesh Meghannawar, Additional SP of Bidar District with Mr. Shivanshu Rajput Asst SP Humanabad, the Team headed by Sharanbasappa Kodla CPI Humanabad with Manjugaud Patil PSI, Suresh Hajjarge PSI and staff conducted the investigation. The accused deliberately crashed the lorry and fraudulently efforts were taken to make them trust about the cause of the accident.
During the process of investigating in the case total of 10 accused were arrested and another 4 accused were absconding and efforts are being taken to locate them. 458 liquor case of 31 lakhs and One lorry, one bolero, one goods vehicle and 3 cars Involved in crime were seized by the police and taken into their custody. Mr Shivanshu Rajput Assistant SP appreciated the team for successful detection of the Crimes.
