New Delhi, October 21, 2025: On the solemn occasion of Police Commemoration Day 2025, the Border Security Force (BSF)* organized a Motorcycle Rally in New Delhi to pay tribute to the valiant police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
The rally was flagged off by Shri Avtar Singh Shahi, Inspector General, BSF, from the BSF Force Headquarters. Addressing the gathering before the flag-off, the IG highlighted that the rally symbolizes the spirit of courage, dedication, and sacrifice that defines the nation’s police and paramilitary forces.
The motorcycle contingent, consisting of disciplined BSF riders, traversed through the main roads and lanes of the national capital, carrying the message of “Sacrifice and Valour of Police Personnel” to the public. Citizens across various localities greeted the riders with salutes, cheers, and gestures of respect, acknowledging the immense contribution of police forces in maintaining peace and national integrity.
The rally culminated at the National Police Memorial, Chanakyapuri, where the riders paid floral tributes to the martyrs. The solemn ceremony served as a reminder of the **bravery, resilience, and commitment of India’s police personnel, who continue to uphold the law and protect the nation, often at the cost of their lives.
The event reflected the BSF’s continued dedication to honouring the sacrifices of the brave men and women in uniform and spreading awareness among the public about the invaluable role of police forces in ensuring internal security and public safety.
