Bengaluru: The CCB police have intensified their operation against drugs and have arrested three people including the notorious rowdy Imran alias Mandi Imran who was involved in drug peddling.
Joint Commissioner of Police Dr. SD Sharanappa said that Imran alias Mandi Imran, Shabaz Khan and Syed Yarab alias Yarab have been arrested. He said that 25 grams of MDMA crystal, 22 LSD strips, 1 kg of ganja, two mobile phones and a packet electronic weighing machine worth 3 lakhs were seized from the arrested.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Mandi Imran, who is involved in the murder case of Adugodi Police Station’s , formed a group of accomplices and bought drugs from another rowdy in the jurisdiction of JJ Nagar Police Station, sold drugs to minor youths and college students, and was ruining the social welfare by earning illegal money.
