Raigarh: The girl’s mother reached the police station when she saw the picture of the missing girl in the WhatsApp group. The hard work of Chakradharnagar Police, members of Village Defense Committee, and responsible people of Raigad Media succeeded to reunite the 02-year-old girl separated from her parents at the earliest so that the girl reached her mother safely on the very second day of her disappearance. According to the information, yesterday, on 7/6/2021, a person named Jagdev from village Jurda under police station Chakradharnagar informed CSP Raigad that a two-year-old girl was found alone near the water tank of the village.
The Chakradharnagar staff was directed by the CSP to go to Jurda and find out the parents of the girl and hand the child over to them. Head constable Mr. Satish Pathak, Mr. Shyam Lal Mahant, Constable Mr. Sushil Yadav, Mr. Sandeep Mishra reached village Jurda from the police station.
Taking the baby girl along, the police staff, went to village Jurda, Pahad Mandir, Kaunhakunda, Pandripani and the search conducted by the police failed to trace her parents. The members of the committee returned to the police station after telling them to put the girl’s photo in all their WhatsApp groups and inform Chakradharnagar police if they got any information. After giving tea breakfast to the girl in the police station, her medical examination, COVID test was done and kept her safely in Matri Nilium Raigad.
At the same time, the Additional SP directed the Police Control Room to send photographs of the girl child to WhatsApp groups of all the police stations and also in the border districts. On asking the print and electronic media from all the police stations to make the photo of the girl viral in their groups, everyone made the photos viral in their groups.
This morning, the girl’s mother Mrs. Khushboo Sonwani saw the photo of the girl in a WhatsApp group and went straight to the Chakradharnagar police station. The mother identified her child as the ward councilor Mr. Murari Bhatt were presented by the Chakradharnagar police before the Child Welfare Committee, Raigarh, where the child has been handed over to her mother by the Child Welfare Officer.
The girl’s mother told that on 07.06.2021 she had gone to the temple to collect scrap. She was picking up junk and her daughter (Jia Sonwani daughter of Ajay Sonwani age 2 years) was walking behind her. When the baby Jia lost her way it was not known that she reached Jurda. We searched on the temple side but were unable to find the child and went back home at night. Today morning the mother saw the photo of the girl child on the other’s mobile, then she reached the Chakradharnagar police station. Due to the good use of social media by conscious people, the missing girl was soon able to meet her mother.
