Chandigarh: On 18.5 2021 the Cycle safety squad of Chandigarh traffic Police conducted an awareness drive at sector 24/25/37/38 Chowk, Chandigarh to educate cyclists, rehri- pullers, rickshaw pullers to move on the dedicated cycle track and to aware pedestrians to use Zebra crossing.
On 18.5 2021 Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted a Road Safety Awareness drive at Gurudwara Chowk Sector -20 and Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh. Citizens were educated about safety helmet, use of seat belt, use of cycle track, the importance of lane driving, No Honking, and the drivers of the motorized and non-motorized vehicle were also educated not to stop or park at the Yellow Box marking area near the entry of slip road to give free passage for the vehicles turning left and not to block the extreme left lane and give space to the vehicle taking slip road for going left through this campaign.
