Chennai: Mr. NM Kumar, a doctor living in Ayanavaram, Chennai, locked the house on 27.6.2019 and when he returned on 30.6.2019, it was revealed that the lock of his house had been broken and about 70 pieces of gold jewelry and cash worth Rs2.5 lakh had been stolen from the house.
Dr. Kumar lodged a complaint at the K-7 ICF police station and a case was registered.K-7 ICF Police Station Crime Branch Investigators are investigating and searching for the culprit involved in the theft. K-7 ICF Police Station First Standing Guards Mr. A. Karuppasamy, (M.N.K.40183), Mr. L. Chinnamani (P.N. 39818) was on night patrol in the ICF Colony area on the night of 29.12.2021 when he stopped a suspect on a two-wheeler and searched his handbag, the handbag had items such as torchlight, wire, gloves, and pants. He was arrested by the police.
The arrested person was taken to the police station and interrogated. The name of the arrested person was Jebaraj (v / 53) Otteri and he confesses that he had broken the lock of the house and stole the gold jewelry. It was revealed that he broke the lock and entered and stole gold jewelry and money. The enemy took Jebaraj into custody and seized from him 85 pieces of razor gold jewelry, 1 two-wheeler, and a handbag containing the items used in the crime. Court action is being taken against the said enemy.
Chennai Metropolitan Commissioner of Police Mr. Sankar Jiwal IPS, on 20.01.2022 congratulated and rewarded the K-7 ICF Police Station Police Team who were vigilant during the night patrol and arrested the culprit.
