Chikkamagaluru City, Karnataka: On 18.01.2026, the Chikkamagaluru City Police conducted a special operation in Rameshwaranagar during the early morning hours. Acting on credible information, a team led by the Police Inspector of Chikkamagaluru City Police Station apprehended an individual involved in the illegal sale of ganja.
During the operation, approximately 1.220 kg of ganja was seized from the accused. Further legal action is underway.
Police officials stated that strict measures will continue against narcotics-related activities to ensure public safety and maintain a drug-free environment in the city.
