Chikmagalur, Karnataka, May 16: In a step towards enhancing technological proficiency and ensuring prompt justice delivery, investigation assistants and computer operators from all police stations across Chikmagalur district were provided training today at the Chikmagalur District Police Office.
The training focused on the procedure for registering Zero FIRs and the effective use of the eSakshya Mobile App for capturing and uploading digital evidence from crime scenes. This initiative aims to empower frontline police personnel with real-time tools for efficient documentation and evidence handling, thereby improving investigation standards.
The program is part of the Karnataka Police’s commitment to adopting smart policing methods and leveraging digital platforms for enhanced transparency, accountability, and service delivery.
