While the last two conferences were held virtually in the wake of COVID, this year’s conference will once again be a platform for global cyber experts to meet in person.
Statistics indicate that along with the jump in online learning and business after the COVID-19, cybercrimes have also increased. The importance of this conference also calls for the fact that global crimes in cyberspace can be prevented only with the cooperation of all countries, while in other crimes the police and legal systems of the countries can take action. With online services and studies becoming commonplace, not only investigative agencies, but even those who use mobile phones in their daily lives, the importance of cyber security is being held in this conference. Therefore, it is essential that all the people from the field should be a part of this conference, the Chairman of the Cocoon Organizing Committee Mr. Manoj Abraham IPS states.
As in previous years, the theme of the conference is Connect-Collaborate-Contribute, giving priority to children’s cyber safety. This time too there is a separate section for Counter Child Sexual Exploitation Unit (CCSE).
Anti-Drone Mobile Vehicle: Cocoon Cyber Conference is being organized by the Kerala Police with the aim of making available new innovations in the cyber field to the Kerala Police. Various discoveries are being made through Cyber Dome, a public-private initiative established for this purpose. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is releasing the anti-drone system which can stand at the forefront of this time in conjunction with Cocoon.
Anti-drone system is launched by the Kerala Police for the first time in India with the aim of preventing drone attacks and drones operating without permission in the new era.
