Coimbatore: On the order given by Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Mr. Selvanagaratnam IPS, a raid was conducted throughout the district. While Periyanayakanpalayam Police Station Assistant Inspector * Mr. Prabhakaran was on patrol duty, Sikabdullah’s son Mohammad (age 52) and Palanisamy (age 44) from Periyanayakan Palayam area were arrested while they were selling illegal Kerala lottery tickets and, 15 Kerala lottery tickets and Rs.1, 800 / – was seized from them. The arrested persons were remanded in judicial custody.
