Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Chennai City Police Commissioner A. Amalraj, IPS, personally commended the police personnel who arrested an absconding suspect involved in a double murder case registered at the Fishing Harbour Police Station. The police apprehended the individual—a history-sheeter who had been evading arrest for a long time despite a court-issued warrant—following an intensive search operation. Appreciating the excellent work of the team that arrested the suspect, the Commissioner presented them with a reward and extended his congratulations. He urged the police force to continue performing effectively in preventing crime and apprehending absconding offenders.
