Chennai: The police arrested the criminals who were involved in robberies in the police stations under Chennai Aavadi Police Commissionerate and seized their jewelry, money and mobile phones. Arrested criminals were booked and jailed. In this situation, the ceremony of handing over 136 pounds of jewelry, 491 cell phones and Rs.7 lakh seized in criminal cases to their owners was held in the afternoon at the Avadi Police Commissioner’s office. Avadi Municipal Police Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Roy Rathore handed over the seized items to their owners. Deputy Commissioners of Police, Mr. Mahesh, Mr. Manivannan, and police personnal were present.
