Rachakonda: On May 9th, 2023, the Commissioner of Police (CP) for the Rachakonda Police Commissionerate, Mr. D.S. Chauhan IPS, felicitated 146 officers for their outstanding work in discharging duties from January to April 2023. The officers who were recognized included citizens, cybercrime, IT cell, SOT L.B.Nagar & Maheshwaram, SOT Malkajgiri, L.B. Nagar L & O, Maheshwaram L & O, Bhongiri yadadri L & O, L.B.Nagar Traffic, Malkajgiri & Bhongiri Traffic, she teams, road safety, FPU & -Clues Team, communications, PCR, CAR, CSW, SB, CI cell, CCRB, PD cell, AHTU, CPO, and CCS.
These officers had successfully arrested notorious and interstate offenders, including chain snatchers, property offenders, drug offenders, cybercrime offenders, and white-collar offenders, and sent them to judicial custody, thereby maintaining public order and peace in their communities. CP Mr. Chauhan emphasized the importance of institutionalizing effective and sustainable systems through technology and process initiatives, as well as community partnerships. This would enable proactive crime prevention, crime detection, maintenance of public order and peace, emergency response, citizens’ grievance redressal, women’s safety, traffic management, and other critical aspects of policing.
CP Mr. Chauhan acknowledged the officers’ contributions and encouraged them to continue their good work. He also recognized their efforts, which had been widely recognized as innovative and successful in achieving the desired objective of safer communities. The CP’s recognition of these officers was a testament to their exceptional performance and dedication to their duties.
The event was attended by Joint CP Mr. V. Satyanarayana IPS, DCPs, ACPs, and SHOs of Rachakonda. The felicitation ceremony was a significant morale booster for the officers, and it demonstrated the police department’s commitment to recognizing and rewarding excellence in service delivery. The officers left the event feeling encouraged and motivated to continue serving their communities to the best of their abilities, ensuring their safety and security.
