Bhopal : Under the guidance of senior officers, Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Mr. Amit Kumar and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mr. Shailendra Singh Chauhan and under the leadership of Assistant Commissioner of Police Crime Mr. Shivpal Singh Kushwaha, the crime branch team arrested an accused of smuggling illegal drugs ganja and charas.
The crime branch team had received information from an informer that a person was making and selling charas and ganja pudiya to customers near the Labor Colony ground in Indrapuri. On receiving the information, the police team reached the spot mentioned by the informer. Masoor Khan father Abdul Jalil age 38 years resident of M.N. 07 Labor Colony, Indrapuri Police Station Piplani Bhopal was arrested. On searching the accused, 650 grams of illegal drug ganja and 550 grams of charas were found in a plastic bag kept with him. Which was duly seized
During interrogation, the accused confessed and told that he brings ganja charas in bulk and makes small pudiyas and sells them to college students for Rs.50 and Rs.100. Due to which he would have earned more profit by buying ganja in less money. A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and taken into consideration.
