Indore: Cyber ​​Helpline is being run by Indore Crime Branch for the prevention of online fraud, cyber fraud, in which everyday applicants register their fraud-related complaints through the phone. Commissioner of Police, Mr. Harinarayanachari Mishra IPS has directed Indore Police to take action by identifying the criminals who cheated people by duping people and earning illegal profits. In line with these instructions, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Mr. Nimish Agrawal and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Mr. Guru Prasad Parashar constituted a special team to investigate complaints of online fraud.

The team has succeeded in getting the money back for the fraud done through online fraud from the applicant in the name of sale and purchase of domestic goods. The applicant Nitin Gangwal resident of Indore had called on the cyber helpline operated by Crime Branch Indore and complained that an unknown person had cheated him by transferring fifty thousand rupees to different accounts of the appellant to buy household items through Facebook under false belief. After receiving the complaint on the helpline, the Crime Branch team, taking immediate action, contacted the concerned bank and stopped the withdrawal of fifty thousand rupees, and deposited it back in the applicant’s account.

The applicant has called Cyber ​​Helpline No. operated by Indore Crime Branch. Called 7049124445 and was informed about the incident of fraud, due to which the applicant’s amount could be returned in time. All the common people are requested that any unknown person should not be lured by an unknown person to buy and sell goods at low prices on the online site, by contacting through phone, message and social media, bank account, credit card, wallet and Do not give UPI PIN and policy information. Also, do not share the access password by downloading any unknown application; otherwise, you may be a victim of fraud. Immediately report such incident to your nearest police station or on cyber helpline 704912-4445 operated by Im Branch Indore Police.
