New Delhi: In New Delhi, the 86th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was marked with a solemn decoration ceremony. The event was graced by Union Home Secretary Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, who served as the Chief Guest. Mr. Bhalla awarded gallantry medals to 24 valiant soldiers of the CRPF in recognition of their exemplary bravery and service to the nation. Additionally, the ceremony honored the supreme sacrifices of three martyrs by posthumously awarding gallantry medals to their courageous wives, who received the medals on behalf of their fallen spouses.
Mr. Anish Dayal Singh, Director General of the CRPF, extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the decorated personnel and their families. He acknowledged their dedication, courage, and commitment to the nation. The ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including the Directors General of the Border Security Force (BSF), the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPRD), alongside other senior officers from various security agencies.
In a significant addition to the ceremony, the Chief Guest, Mr. Ajay Kumar Bhalla, e-inaugurated the newly established “New Generation Vehicles Diagnostic Lab” at the CRPF Training Centre in Neemuch. This state-of-the-art facility is expected to enhance the operational efficiency and readiness of the force by providing advanced diagnostic capabilities for CRPF’s fleet of vehicles. The lab’s inauguration marks a key step in the modernization and technological advancement of the CRPF, underscoring the force’s commitment to maintaining high standards of operational preparedness.
