<![CDATA[The Rachakonda Cyber Crime Detectives on Thursday arrested a pseudo astrologer namely Akash Bhargav alias Akash Sharma aged 19, of Jalandhar in Punjab for swindling money from an IT Professional. The victim Mr. Sirkar aged 40 from Ramanthapur was facing marital discord, and had personal problems. He visited a website namely www.specialistastrologer.com and got in touch with the accused. The astrologer is half his age and he promised him that he could make all things right. Akash Sharma asked him to organize some money to perform special poojas. Initially he asked Mr. Srikar to pay Rs.2, 000 but gradually he ended up swindling about Rs.13 lakh in the process. The victim’s mother Mrs. V. Janaki being concerned about her son losing money approached the police in August stating that her elder son, who was facing problems in both professional and personal life, was being cheated by an astrologer. Following her complaint, the police registered a case and started the investigation. . V. Janaki told the police that to lead a normal life again, my son started searching for solutions and visited a website www.specialistastrologer.com where he contacted astrologer Akash Sharma. He told Akash about his problems in his married life. Rachakonda Joint Commissioner of Police Mr. G. Sudheer Babu said initially, he asked Srikar to pay Rs.2, 000 to perform a pooja, but gradually he ended up paying him around Rs.13 lakh.]]>
