Cyberabad, Telangana: In a major step towards adopting cutting-edge technology, the Cyberabad Police is exploring a world-class, AI-based predictive traffic management model aimed at reducing congestion and enhancing road safety across the commissionerate.

As part of this initiative, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh held a meeting with Dr. Lucas Ambühl, CEO of Transcality AG, to review advanced intelligent traffic solutions.

The proposed system leverages Artificial Intelligence to deliver:

* Predict & Forecast: Real-time data analysis to anticipate and prevent traffic congestion before it escalates.

* Optimize Signals: Smart traffic signal control systems to ensure smoother and more efficient vehicle flow.

* Future-Ready Planning: Simulation of traffic patterns to support upcoming infrastructure and urban development projects.

Aligned with European standards and global best practices, the initiative reflects Cyberabad Police’s forward-looking approach to urban mobility management. The AI-driven model aims to make daily commutes faster, safer, and smarter for citizens while strengthening overall traffic discipline and road safety.

Officials stated that the move underscores the department’s commitment to leveraging technology for public convenience and efficient traffic regulation in the rapidly growing Cyberabad region.
