Cyberabad, Telangana: The Cyberabad Traffic Police has announced an Open Road Safety Short Films/Reels Making Competition as part of its “Arrive Alive” road safety campaign to create greater public awareness on responsible driving.
The competition invites participation from filmmakers, directors, social media influencers, creative individuals, students, and members of the public, encouraging them to share their ideas on road safety through short films or reels. The duration of each video must be between 30 seconds and 90 seconds, and entries exceeding the stipulated time limit will not be considered.
Participants can create content on various road safety themes including wrong-side driving, dangerous driving, lane discipline and overtaking, riding without a helmet, using mobile phones while driving, drunken driving, driving without a seat belt, speeding, and defensive driving. To assist participants, the police will also provide accident data and category-wise statistics from the past two years for reference.
The last date for submission of entries is March 31, 2026. A jury will evaluate the entries based on creativity, content quality, informative value, video production quality, and visual and sound effects.
Winners securing first, second, and third places will receive cash prizes, while certificates of appreciation will be presented to all participants. Additionally, deserving entries will be recognized with consolation prizes.
Through this initiative, the Cyberabad Traffic Police aims to actively engage the community and inspire citizens to contribute towards building greater awareness and safer roads for everyone.
