New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested three persons for committing robberies in the city. The persons are suspected to be members of Gala Ghotu gang, the police said Sunday. Near Nehru Chowk three persons committed a robbery as they robbed a person of his mobile phone. The victim alerted a patrolling police officer who was present there and told the police officer that the accused attacked him by attempting to chock him and then fled the spot after robbing him of his mobile phone. The police officer gave a chase to the accused who were travelling in an auto and apprehended one of them namely Vakeel. The victim filed a complaint with the police in connection with the robbery on which the robbery became known. On interrogating the accused, he revealed to the police the whereabouts of his accomplices and they, Parvesh and Mithlesh were arrested from Ajmeri Gate, the police said. On arresting the three accused, the police said that they seized two mobile phones and one auto rickshaw from their possession. ]]>
