Jammu & Kashmir, July 8: In a strong show of leadership and commitment to the safety of pilgrims, DG CRPF Shri G. P. Singh undertook a ground-level security review along the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra route, travelling by road from Jammu to Srinagar.
During the journey, the Director General made a key stop at Kali Mata Mandir, Tekri (NH-44), where he interacted with officers of the J&K Police and other security forces, receiving firsthand briefings on the operational deployment and integrated security grid.
Later, at the 137 Battalion, CRPF in Udhampur, Shri Singh chaired a crucial inter-agency review meeting, focusing on strengthening inter-force coordination and synergy to ensure a safe, seamless, and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for thousands of devotees.
This on-ground engagement reflects the CRPF’s unwavering commitment to national duty and the protection of faith, ensuring security, mile by mile.
