Chennai: On May 7th, 2023, a student who was supposed to write the NEET examination in Ambattur accidentally went to Aavadi instead. However, the Ambattur Traffic Chief Constable, Mr. Thanasekaran, and guard, Mr. Dinesh Kumaraswamy, came to the student’s aid and helped him reach the exam center on time by taking him there in a traffic patrol vehicle. The Director General of Police (DGP) in Tamil Nadu, recognizing the actions of these policemen, commended them for their outstanding service.
During a visit to the DGP’s office, Mr. Shailendrababu, IPS., DGP presented a certificate and cash reward as a token of appreciation for the policemen’s exceptional efforts in ensuring the student could write his exam on time. Their quick thinking and decisive action in this situation not only helped the student in need but also demonstrated the high level of professionalism and dedication to duty among Tamil Nadu police officers.
