Bhopal : It is worth mentioning that in the “Conference on Good Practices in CCTNS / ICIS, 2022” organized by NCRB, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in New Delhi on 15/16.12.2022, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Government of India Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, Mr. Vivek Gogia (Director General, NCRB) in the presence of participants from all the states, Madhya Pradesh was awarded the trophy for the commendable work done in the implementation of ICIS, for getting the second place in the whole of India, as well as the Sub-Inspector, radio, working in the police department of the state. Om Shankar Singh, District Chhatarpur and Head Constable (Computer) Mr. Dipesh Yadav, SCRB, Police Headquarters, Bhopal were honored for the excellent work done by them.
The trophy was presented to the Director General of Police by the SCRB team. On this occasion, Director General of Police, M.P. congratulated the winners and the team of SCRB and told that more and more increase should be done in citizen centric services in the interest of the citizens. Prevention of crimes should be done by using modern techniques of crime investigation and investigation.
ADG SCRB Mr. Chanchal Shekhar said that through CCTNS (Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems), the work of the police station has been digitized, due to which a large database of crimes and criminals has been prepared, through which the search of criminals is done in a few seconds. This has not only increased transparency in police functioning, but prompt action can be taken in prevention of crime and maintenance of law and order. Through the CCTNS based investigation app, transparent and quick investigation can be done which has increased the public’s trust in the police.
