Uttarakhand, Uttarkashi: In a concerted effort under the campaign initiated by the Uttarkashi District Police to target individuals with pending warrants, rewards, or criminal accusations, a team from the Dharasu Police Station successfully apprehended a wanted individual. The accused, identified as Mukul, son of Yograj, is a resident of Gurudwara Gali, under the jurisdiction of Vikas Nagar Police Station, Vikas Nagar, District Dehradun. The arrest took place in Vikas Nagar, Dehradun, as part of a targeted operation to fulfill a warrant associated with crime number 32/2022. This warrant, issued by the Honorable District and Sessions Judge of Uttarkashi, pertains to offenses under Section 8/21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The operation underscores the ongoing commitment of the Uttarkashi Police to apprehend individuals involved in drug-related offenses and other serious crimes within the region.
