Dindigul, Tamil Nadu: In preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections, extensive security arrangements have been made in Dindigul, with around 400 personnel—including units from the Border Security Force and other state armed police forces—deployed for election duties.
A detailed consultation meeting was held at the Armed Reserve campus, presided over by Pradeep, Superintendent of Police, where clear instructions and protocols were issued to ensure effective coordination and preparedness.
Later in the evening, Central security forces conducted a flag march across sensitive polling areas in key constituencies—Palani, Oddanchatram, Athoor, and Nilakottai—reinforcing public confidence and demonstrating readiness to ensure peaceful and secure elections.
This coordinated effort highlights the commitment of Dindigul Police and allied forces to uphold law and order and facilitate free and fair polling.
