Philip, Director General of Police (CS CID) has stated in a statement from the IPS Association on 13.8.2019 that the Police Department is making unprecedented arrangements for ensuring peaceful and smooth conduct of temple function at Athi Varathar. In his statement he said that we appreciate the work being turned out by each and every member of the Police Force in trying circumstances and we expect all sections of society to respect the policemen and cooperate with them so that they are able to discharge their duties.
